Cobb County's seat is Marietta, which the county history identifies as the county seat from 1834. For this reference, Cobb connects the I-75/I-575 travel corridor with a county State Court and a separate police-report system. Those resources concern different stages of a crash inquiry, so a report request should not be confused with a court-record search.[1][3][2][4]

Northwest corridor

Peach Pass describes the Northwest Corridor as reversible toll lanes along I-75 and I-575. It notes that schedules can change for incidents and major events. Record which roadway and facility a location concerns; a general reference to the northwest corridor does not establish a lane's direction at a particular time.[3]

State Court of Cobb County

Cobb's State Court information page reproduces the jurisdiction rule for civil actions without regard to the amount in controversy, except those reserved exclusively to superior courts. The court's main page lists 12 East Park Square in Marietta and offers a court-records search link. These identify the court resource; they do not decide venue for an individual truck-crash case.[5][2]

Cobb Police accident reports

Cobb Police offers a Police 2 Citizen online accident-report search for involved parties. Its instructions distinguish involved from non-involved requesters for in-person service and provide an open-records request route. The page also supplies an accident-report overlay key, which is a useful companion when reading the report's coded fields.[4]
